You're looking at screen captures from our behind the scenes footage with Mr. George Hamilton. We'll throw in some descriptions for you.
So, Mr. Hamilton is foreground, having just come into our 3rd production room at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. The first room is for makeup, hair, food and schmoozing. The second is dedicated to shooting their key photos for the show and the site. The last (3rd) room is where we actually shoot the interviews with them. The dude in the background is our Producer, Todd Cantelon, who also does the interviews but doesn't appear on-camera.
Our 1st Assistant Director "Gio" is getting ready to 'slate us in' after which we'll start shooting. You can see that Mr. Hamilton, as you'd expect, is cracking a joke. He was as funny and charming as you'd expect. Todd is holding Mr. Hamilton's latest book. The green sheets behind them are 'green screens' which are keyed out of the shot giving you the black background and animation that our post-team creates.
Here we are, in 'Room 2' between photo sessions. George is getting ready to do his shoot and having a chat with Mr. Nigel Lythgoe one of the longtime Executive Producers of 'American Idol' and creator of 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Our key makeup artist is in the background rushing to powder somebody.
